hi, I recently enquired about the scaffolding supervisors course but was put off of going for it, but i am wanting to stay in the scaffolding industry so would like to move into the office side of it if possible. does anyone have any tips or advice about going about this? I am in edinburgh

cheers for any replies

That said. I don't think you'd find a better firm to work for in the office here at Trad, I just ain't enjoying it and feel that I would be happier and richer back on the tools. But if that's what you really want to do then you gotta put mind body and soul into it as it can be disheartening at times.

To become a good supervisor you must sell your sole to the devil be a great bull shiter tell lies on a hourly rate and tell everyone who will listen how good you were on the spanners and post 20 times a day on the forum. Have i misted any think?

Yes mate, back to the grind from Monday, told them yesterday. To be honest i've been missing it, plus the extra money on weekends etc. The penny dropped before my honeymoon when I was sat in the office on a friday and they couldn't get enough men for the weekend. I was itching to put my name in but alas it's not allowed so had to stay silent.

Can't really say too much as it's an open forum and all the office staff are on here anyway. Don't wanna sound like i'm being derogatory towards my firm because i'm not. BUT I am looking forward to going to work on Monday now (SAD I KNOW)
