Is work picking up or not.im in my late 50s and starting to get fed up chasing work,im thinking of changing my profession any ideas of what to do. THIS SHOULD BE Good.
Do a NEBOSH course and become a safety officer. You will have one advantage over 99% already doing it and that is you will actually have worked in the construction industry.
Where are these safety jobs exactly?I never seen one in 20 years.
Must have had your heed burried in the sand pal, safety jobs all over the place. Look & you will find.
Ok,have to confess,I haven't really looked for them,but read the evening standard every night for 20 years and don't ever remember seeing one advertised.
do i come across like the negative kind hswt lol, i reckon if he keeps looking at the evening standard for another 20yrs he might just be ok
I suppose he could get a job selling the Evening Standard outside Waterloo Station.

id say get a taxi , or go drive a bus john , you'd probably get bored of that soon though..
hope to get the nebosh done this year , not going anywhere near a scaffold when im 50 , if i even make it there..
you never know what financial position you will be in when you are 50.
