hilti ties

Scaffold Tie's

if your on about Hilti rings then its bullets you want, does anyone know where i can get Apollobolts from?

Hi Dave,

I don't know if our messages were getting crossed or what but I am convinced I had sent you my details earlier. Anyway, I spoke to my client this morning and he has agreed to purchase 100 ties as a trial to see how they work. Thanks for all the info as it certainly helped put my point across, between sue and scaffy I feel a bit of an appolo expert know.

Hi Andreas, its Dave from Apollo Fixings. We can supply you with the original Apollobolt that has the single and best cutting thread around. We used to do xcalibur but the Apollobolt is easier to install and has provided better load results into low density brick.
Please, please, please forget your bullets they may work but they are not recommended for brick and most concrete applications for the majority of scaffolding applications. Honestly, many may use them but you are deciding to buy a product that the manufacturers not not recommend themselves. If any one tells you otherwise they are wrong.
We do a plate converter that allows you to use an M16 ring and a bolt headed Apollobolt.
I know scaffy has provided our details but heres our no. 01527 63999. Next day nationwide delivery.

Cheers Dave,

I will now see if we have an account with you guys, we're based in west brom.

scaffy been using the rubbers for years mate they are great for brickwork dont split the brick, or what i do sometimes is put ducktape around a normal anchour helps it bite when setting in brickwork

nice one mate , never tried them , using excalibur bolts with good success

we never have a problem --- drill a smaller hole !!!!

is it only me that struggle with excaliber bolts they always seem to loose ?

Phill, we are the exact opposite. They are ok into brickwork but try getting them into stone and they will bust your wrist.

piut em in with impact wrench - no wrist issues then

Hi Dave, these timber kit ties we got off you are working a treat and at last everyone is beginning to see the benefits, but there is one question that has been bugging me, how the heck do you test them with a standard pull tester. It's probably me but our testing rig will never screw out to take these things, is there a simple solution or do I have to buy another rig?
