Alright lads looking for a bit of help with pricing jobs, managed to get myself some gear and picking up a few small works job's just really want to know the best way to price any info greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Best thing to do is get a few local firms to give you a price to do something like the front and back of your own place and work out what they are charging based on their quotes , then , find a price that is profitable for you but also competitive with the local firms and see how it goes , also , don`t go too cheap .... the expenses soon rack up down the line.

I reckon most of the local Scaffs would give you a guide price over the phone if you fabricated a simple enough job for them to quote for like 8m x 5.5m front of house with easy access , no cables etc or single lift around new double garage 6m x 7m. Should be easy enough then to work out what they charge by the linear mtr / Square / Sq M or however you plan on pricing your work , if you are just starting out the most straight forward way is probably £s per linear mtr , per lift ...... they all arrive at similar figures if your rates are correct anyway.

Would advise getting payment up front if you can , or at least 50% if not -- chasing money is not a thing you wanna be doing when starting out , or even when established for that matter lol .

Good luck with it .
