H&S Scaffold Supervisor , in , Australia

Our Client, a highly reputable Oil & Gas Company, are seeking an experienced H&S Scaffold Supervisor to ensure that all aspects of scaffold erection, modification and dismantling are performed in a safe and effective manner be a part of their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great company.
The H&S Supervisor Scaffolding must possess extensive experience and is technically competent (subject matter expert) in the following processes
Scaffold erection planning and use
Working at Height
The use of safety harness and the use of harness fall recovery and retrieval equipment
Scaffold Inspection/Certification (ScaffTag)
The maintenance of a Scaffold Register
Review the design of ‘Special Purpose’ Scaffold
The use of Gin Wheels and Pulley
Performed Scaffold Competency Assessment
Scaffold Safety Training
Dropped Object protection measure
Monitor scaffold exclusion zones to ensure that scaffold hazardous areas are effectively controlled and safety signs displayed
To be successful for this role you will possess the following:
Internationally recognised Scaffold Supervisor accreditation
Broad technical and HESQ skills in project construction
Project experience with a large multi-disciplined workforce
Technical expert in Scaffolding
5+ year’s broad-based Scaffold Supervisor experience
High school diploma desirable but not essential
5 Years in a Scaffold Supervisor role
Scaffold Safety Trainer, System Expertise in Scaffold Management controls and Planning
Good communication Skills
Accredited Scaffold Specialist, Registered Safety Professional desirable
