forefront must have every scaffolder in the country registered with them at one time or another and yet every job they get they are advertising it on here and on the job centre very strange:suspicious:

It's not strange Cozzy, it would be strange not to. Makes sense to have some reactive calls coming in as we are ringing round.

We call hundreds of scaffolders each day and do our best to keep up to speed with everybody as an individual, although you may also have changed your phone number, moved house, started long term work on the cards, finished up suddenly, etc etc. Whether already registered with us or not, it wouldn't hurt for anyone who is currently looking for scaffolding work or anticipates looking for work in the future to give our offices a call on 01709 376386 (northern) or 01291 620038 (southern) today.

If you are registered with ForeFront and see a job advertised on here that you fancy, but haven't had a call about yet, don't wait for your phone to ring - chances are if you're local you will get a call, but there might be a few hundred local scaffs for some jobs and it might take us a while to get to you. We can't call everybody at the same time and we also apply a certain degree of common sense when ringing round, so if you are registered with us and live in Portsmouth you may not get a call about a certain job we are advertising in Manchester (if there aren't any digs), and vice versa. Of course if you've accepted a job with ForeFront and subsequently let yourself/us down, you might have a long wait ;)

Thanks

Dom, you've messed enough scaffs about. Agencies scum of the earth.

You never ring me, either :(

That's because they haven't got half as much work as they like to brag about. Lets face it, any other agency would be banned from here for the stunts forefront pull. They get away with it cos they sponsor the forum!

hmm some may tell porkies but ive been in the game a fair while now and from what I can see as of late there paying a lot beter than the top paye firms

Thru an umbrella company?
So you pay to get paid?

The problem is the firms lads, it's all too obvious firms are wanting cheaper labour by not paying holiday pay and ppe and paperwork warnings and getting rid of dead wood.
If the firms didn't use agency's, then there wouldn't be any in the first place.

not worked for an agency yet but i've noticed the main gripe from people that have is the promise of long term work that more often than not never happens and getting paid through an umbrella company.maybe if enough people make a complaint to somebody like the financial ombudsman about the umbrella company payroll fee something might come of it.

Well ive worked for forefront befor and they always ring and are very good payers, right money, on time, no problems what so ever

If your a lazy Pratt that cant cover his money then no you will go down on the system as so and be last to be called, to meany people that wont paying for sitting round

Would work for dom or mark any day.......

Just checking that you are not sitting in Forefront's office? Their rivals Logical got someone to pretend he was a scaffolder and say how great they were some time ago.:D

But I like being paid for sitting around all day :(

With this in mind, I called Mark earlier to make sure it wasn't him! Thank you Craig and kaizer.

It was an interesting first post by forum standards. Historical records show that most first posts are requests for work. I believe it is the first time a member has weighed in with flowing praise for an agency!
Of course I don't believe for a minute that Dom or Mark would be so foolish as to follow RHL and Logical's schoolboy type errors.;)
