Anybody worked for forefront and had problems with payment of wages ????

I was asked by them a couple of years ago to go to Kent for a three week shutdown, when I got there on the Monday the foreman (That I already knew quite well) said WTF are you doing here? we will be out of here by the end of the week.
And on the Friday we loaded the last bit of kit from the racks onto the lorry and said our goodbyes.
I was a bit pi55ed off that Lee lied to me about the duration but even more pi55ed off that they hadn't paid me for the Friday even though Alltask had paid them for my time.
I eventually got my days pay but had to pay all the fees to the umbrella company which were the same as you would pay on a full week.
I know they sponsor this Forum but I wouldn't bother working for them again I would have cleared more working three days locally.

Ive noticed a few posts on the jobcentre site regarding them but they havent been on the forum.
That to me stinks

I worked for them for over a year in Colnbrook and they had my wages spot on week after week and had no problems. They seems to be alot of agencys promising 3months work when it turns out to be 3, not a good time atm.

I've worked for Forefront on various occasions and on a few different contracts over a 6 month period, the one time the umbrella company they use did screw up my wages, Forefront went to the bank and paid them in themselves before 9:30 the same day. Can't complain about them, one of the better agencies out there.

I ve always made good money with Forefront and they are regarded the best around as they specialize in scaffolding. But i think we all get screwed from time to time sometimes it may be down to all sorts of factors that are lost in translation....where is greed there is blood.

Perhaps in all fairness I should have mentioned the job for Thames Water I was on the year before, there was no problems there at all.
But I still wouldn't work for them again.

too be honest guys there was a problem with timesheets and the money was put in by twelve . it was forefronts mistake but it was soon rectified like you say one of the better agencys
