Description

Applicants must be an experienced Scaffolder and have a CISRS Scaffolder or Labourer card. Applicants must also have a full clean driving licence for using a company vehicle. Must have licence to drive up to 7.5 tonne vehicle. Duties will be driving scaffolding to appropriate destinations and will also include erecting the scaffolding. There is optional overtime available.

From what I've heard, their lads have to work a month lying on.
I've also heard that overtime is paid the following month

They use a system scaffold called alustar. Its similar to kwikstage but made from aluminium. Apparently a lot of their lads are working with PASMA tickets to get round the need for CISRS cards. Because its made from aluminium, its comes under the same training and qualifications as alloy towers
 
from what i've been told from lads that have worked there, this company is best avoided like the plaque!
 
Passed a house they were doing in Seaton Burn, last month, there must have been about 12 of them there, never seen a AGR yet. All harnessed up using Ally Kwik form (Alustar).

Most of their work is for Kier. They do a lot of the local authority housing stuff.

Considering how strict Kier's were in the beginning, I'm surprised they are getting away with it

There again it was 4.30 pm. overtime for the Guys. Fair one, they need the bit for next month.......Hols etc.

Ezee, were on my site18mths ago, with their sister company, so i was led to believe, for access towers to solar panel repairs.

Same as anywhere else lads. The guys are sound as, however, Tarred by the brush of a company's reputation. Is not a good Hair day for the guys and Gal (Is she still there) that are doing a honest days work, to provide for a family or to try and progress in their chosen career path.

possibly advertising cos there last driver rapped after getting paid 800 pound for a months work with overtime . even after waiting a month for your money lads are getting robbed

I also heard that they are erecting using Bamboo as well as they are just going to employ Monkeys as they can be paid peanuts!!!

Load of rubbish about PASMA everyone knows you can not put scaffolding up without a CISRS card.

Monthly is true but not a problem as its not paid a month lying on and overtime is never paid as they are on a price!

The system they use is good and works well I have worked for this company before and was never ripped off, they even put me through extra training at their cost not my own.

Would say they are one of the better ones around and would happily go back and work there again once back in the area.

thats bullsh!t , i know a few lads that have worked there and they are always saying they are getting bumped then having to wait till the next month for there money . 3 lads left to go to marine and are happier there , that tells you everything you need to know about this firm

I heard that two of them came back tail between legs begging for the job back and the third asked but was told no.

But this tells you everything about scaffolding, that everyone talks ******** if people are happy to listin
 
never worked for them , but know a good few that have . i cant say how bad they are from experience just saying i never heard a good word said about them . we wont get started on the . in fact i ll leave it there cos hes ma mate but one of the lads in a high position is an absolute burk

gents thanks for all your negative comments about my company by the sounds of it you all know us so well and i love it when you can sit at a computer and call a company you have never worked for before we are a family run business and look after our employees rather well i feel we do pay monthly yes you's are all right about that we dont pay overtime because every one is on a price and for all those who dont understand what that means it is you get paid for what you erect and dismantle so the guys who are complaining and spreading the rumours that we bump people and dont pay them correctly we only go off the information the scaffolders with the CISRS cards not PASMA ones give us so they get paid from their own information and time sheets they hand in.

your obviously a scaffolder with a lot of experience if you think this can be acheived in the scaffolding world especially when we are NASC registered and we have to keep up with NASC regulations and get audited every 2 years

there are a few words i could comment with on this so here goes i will give it my best shot.
JEALOUS,BITCHY,SOUR,GRUMPY,ABUSIVE,REMF, the last one is for the ex squaddie so we are speaking the same language.
i love it how all the scaffs come together and can still find time in between grafting to bitch about each other and when it comes to seeing the people they bitch about they are so nice to their face i think in the the words of the wise men in this world its called 2 faced

i didnt know we had a sister company so this is news to me i think i do know where and when you are on about and the work was for bellways at seaton deleval site and the company you are referring to as a sister company was R BAU well i can tell you from the horses mouth that its called helping another company out when they need assistance and i am sure you cannot complain about the work we did if i am correct in thinking this is the job we did and yes we do still have a female scaffolder working for us and she has come through the apprenticeship scheme and is now a basic part 2 nvq level 2 scaffolder with a CISRS card and she could probably show alot of so called MALE scaffolders a thing or 2 with ALUSTAR SYSTEM SCAFFOLDING (sorry ali kwikform by using pasma tickets)
