Hi can any one tell me who has the maintenance on didcot is it still cape and do you know if there after men or are they fully maned up thanks

Cape still have maintenance at the moment and where there quiet out on the grid they have transferred guys there:suspicious:
 
i think your find its cape on maintance oufc scaff 2 lads from national grid have just been
transfered to didcot for capes only worked there once what a dirty horrible place good luck anyway mate.

I agree there dico , did some monitoring work on there for palmers .Its a right hole
 
Look like a panda bear by the time you finish your shift, just white rings around your eyes, stand a 16 up in a tight spot and knock the slightest thing and then all the soot raining down on you, 2 showers before the water runs clear, got bollok*ing when with cape for using palmers gear, i said for f*cksake theres an inch of soot on it, cant tell whos gear is what.
Got a funny look off the storeman when i asked if he had any masks, he said i was the first person in a year that had ever asked for a mask, luckily did a week and got transfered back on the grid. :blink1:
 
thanks for the info lads your right it is a hole but out of work at mo so any hole will do:nuts:
 
went there a few years ago was stripping none of this watch out iam tipping boards
just turn them over and your smothered if you chew chewing gum and spit it out its black you get free eyeliner for days the only good thing is the bacon rolls in the canteen
lmfao.
 
i was on the maintenance for hertel for a few years, its ok if you stay away from the turbine hall, mill bay, top floor, basically anywhere inside is seriously hot, proper dusty, and really loud!
any lads here who was with hertel on the maintenance?
 
Yes Cape have contract at Didcot,I work for Cape on Carriers down at Pompey.
There are a couple of outages coming up at Didcot.
 
any luck daveb2 with the didcot job mate are they looking for men for the outage or have they got it covered internally with cape men if they are when does it kick off im thinking about it myself but still in 2 minds worked there before dirty hot hell hole
