I've just had a message from a non scaffolding friend who works at Didcot asking me if I know of any lads looking for work. It seems Capes have a contract starting soon and are having trouble getting people on board.
I don't know any details yet other than its a couple of months work and possible 7 days a week.
I've told him to post on here or send me the details and I can do it for him.
Please don't ask me any questions about this coz I genuinely don't know. I'm just giving anyone who's interested a heads up. Contact capes to find out more.
When I know anything else I'll put it on here.
 
HI who is the manager etc. at capes now in their office,and where bis the office now,when i worked there it was just of the M62 near normington juleion gamage ,john mullins ran it and the main man ,paul hainley this were in the mid 80s

I done a few years for capes & they are the worst outfit going.all they want is yes men.
 
It seems funny Cape cant get men there, there must be a reason. I hear the rate is 12.95 hour and no bonus,and prob 38 hours most weeks.
Whats the contract, they all ready have the maintaince and the station closes in march ?

worked on b for sys in the 90s... nice station and nice boilers to scaffold.. 8 lifts,,, not like the coal boilers dico..
 
Hopefully I can get the number tomorrow. I'm relying on some one else getting it, when I get it I'll post it on here.
