Christmas Meltdown

Every year around this time we go into meltdown with strips here there and everywhere. The past couple of years I've barely been able to get the wagons in the yard for gear coming back in at Crimbo. This year we rejigged the racking and even had another unit on standby for the influx of gear. So far it's not happened and the racks actually not that full either. Too early to breathe a sigh of relief or the sign of bouyant times ??

Same for us. Had a lot come down but still a load of gear out.

We r the same and we usually get load of calls last day b4 the holiday demanding scaffold down for Xmas

When I was on the tools for street firms there were always a lot of strips to do before Xmas. Wasn't it more to do with builders finishing their work and wanting payment off the householders?

We're usually the same, but the weather over the last 6 weeks has knackered everyone up, a lot of my customers are well behind on jobs, and not in a position to get the jobs down.

Well technically 3 working days left now before we break up and our racks are empty :weird:
Not one long in the yard in ali or galv with more jobs booked in to go up next week as well.
Sign of the times or the mild weather ?? I dunno but never before have we had this little gear in the yard Christmas week!

Same down here we had to buy some boards last week as not one in yard hopefully next year will be as good
