im trying to get in with cape with labour only does any one have any contact details also trying to get in with firms abroad all help appreciated.
 
get your safety pass port and disclosure scotland you will have a better chance, labourers am workin with are clearing 820 a week the now with cape on a shutdown

I can't believe what I'm reading here , you want to supply Cape with scaffolders on a labour only basis yet havn't a. Scooby Doo about the operational procedures within the industrial sector .

Wasn't trying to be snide sharp, just surprised me that's all.

i don't mean to be rude, but I don't think the comments were meant to be "snide remarks". i think they were more on the lines of " What on earth are you doing trying to supply labour to the industrial sector when you know Jacksh*t about it.

Know your market is the basis of good business.
 
i understand what your saying all im doing is trying to get into this sector and needed pointing in the right direction so far no help yet.
 
Not really my bag but I don't think capes do much through agency's which I assume you are part of. I could be very wrong as it's been a long time since I had any real experience. The safety passport is just another poor training course that allow's guys to work in power stations much like the bosiet for the off shore boys.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ive jus re-read the first post n just been browsing the other ones, a thought he meant he was a labourer, not wantin to supply the labour , nooooooooooooooo chance of that ever happenin
 
i dont fancy your chances with cape,and i personally dont want to work for agencies on major projects.i beleive that going in books in is the only way

Lets imagine for one minute that you did manage to break into this sector , how would you find the required labour with the necessary skill set ? Let me guess , by posting here on the forum !

What benefits would your company be able to offer prospective employees ? Lodge/travel allowance , premium rate overtime ? I very much doubt you would be able to fulfill your legal requirement to supply basic PPE and you wonder why no one is prepared to offer any help !

if you do manage to get on capes which is a multimillion pound set up dont forget the million pound or so liability insurance lol!!!
 
got my pass port to safety,cisrs,bosiet euro,medical,and still trying to get that work,please advise me how,been scaffolding 15 years
