im looking for someone who has tickets to erect safety netting seems very hard to find someone ive been asked by a customer of mine its for event work in london any ideas or who to speak to about going on a course to do it
 
i hope so jas in a pickle with this at the moment my customer breathing down my neck for this one
 
Id come and give you a hand mate, but i aint got a clue about netting... aint got much a clue about Scaffolding, let alone netting, lol.

Tried a goooooooooooooooooooooogle search?
 
that makes 2 of us jas a flippin ticket to tie a knot whats all that about
 
Years ago a bloke turned up showed you the knots and that was your ticket,not now,you need a red improver card and must work under a blue card holder for 18 months and build a portfolio of jobs done,i've virtually packed the netting in,as it's a nightmare training wise and there's guys out there charging a pound a sqaure:(

Probably not, no.

The whole thing is tons of grief - especially if your engineers need to consider the reactions if tying to a scaffold, which is the scenario we had.

Things like that are best left to others - people who do it everyday.

Obviously scaffolders who do line crossings would need the ticket, but no other real advantage.
 
True... just trying to think of ways of wasting my money, lol.

they are a small company based in essex (averley) owner is called mick, they also do scaffolding aswell, might be worth a call
 
i wonder if they do an online certificate for this ?? will have to do some lookin about when i get in from work... :bigsmile:
