was 180 a day , got dropped to 150 a day "cos of the reccession" and i was told last week its now 140 a day . thats why they use agencies . i have worked for minstrel before and always got paid off them and they might be paying more than being direct for pyerob
 
Bottom line is we all gotta do what we all gotta do. If an agency is gonna make money off my back then so be it. I'm on ash and as you know are a fantastic agency and I'm earning very good money. It's a cruel world midge and you gotta help yourself. Just the same as an agency thinks. I'm gratful to be working. Someone is always gonna make money somewhere wether it be an agency or direct for someone. How many times you been on a firm where the fella next to ya Is on a fiver a day more? It all adds up. So agency or direct your still getting someone earning off your back.
 
Very true Danny but mate my way on there is no good agys and yes ash is a very good agys indeed and would defo work for them again but here they are ripping every thing and no one can earn good with them **** I worked for 1 here it was not what I expected at all yes I've been very lucky mostly being direct and I just hate see some good lads getting the piss took out of them having to work for them and most of the agys no this
 
I know where your coming from but unfortunately it's life. Again how many times you been promised the earth working direct then consequently been shafted? Not all agencys are bad. Same as not all companies are piss takers. It is **** that alot of these agency's are trying to rip us off. But like I said you sometimes gotta do the nessessary. You get ripped off you let people know then these firms struggle. And they do. It's good that we can all stick together and hopefully one day we can get these issues resolved. In the mean time we just gotta give the agency's the benefit of the doubt eh?

I'm all good mate. I'm on for c&d over at London gateway/shell haven in Essex. Not a bad job. Dunno how long for but just gettin on with it mate and nicking the money while I can!

Power station mate, been going for a couple of years, maybe another 3 left, was just talking to my mate not 2 mins ago who is on there. Getting lodge and travel but basic hours so just ticking over. June is when they will man up and put the hours up for the shutdown.

Hertel is taking on in June and paying lodge, will see if i still got the number.
