Got a message from an agency about work at Blackfriars bridge . The message was from Minstrel and said there was four weeks work, 10hr shifts plus weekends , contact Scott on 0151 5259661 .

Please don't post or PM asking for further details, ring the number as I'm just passing the info on via the jobs forum.
 
This job is Pyrod and palmers **** agys there the ones you need to get into
Mate of mine is on there it's all striping good money tho

Ring the gaffers might get longer than 4 weeks
Like I said go direct I've said who's got the contract gives lads a chance to ring who has the contract to bypass the agys !
 
Yer these firms have lists of lads looking to go direct

but they use agencys because its cheaper and easy to get rid of lads

thats while there use agencys
 
Sod the agys you think they havnt got a list as long as there arm just more numbers to them to prove how many lads they can get them use your Brian if they can't get lads then they have to take them direct only way we can pull or trade back into shape

thats right its quicker to get rid blokes. these agencys spoiling our trade. got offererd 260.00 for 5 days with one told them am british not polish lol.
 
we need to stamp these ******* agencys out. if they can afford to pay them they can afford to take lads stright on

Agency Labour

Hi All
Has any of you thought about starting up your own labour only companies, I personally don't think any of the companies you mention want to use agencies its just there aren't enough choices.
 
Dodge this firm now lads it's a sh*t rate and all the other scaffs are on better money than what he is offering I've got pals on there there taking the p*as again no digs travel and a sh*t rate
 
Now that is a very good idea as long as a real Scaff run it
I worked for a guy doing that with capes got ripped off big time
No lodge no travel it was proper *****
There is only 1 agy I worked for who were fantastic they do all c & d work I got every
Thing on Enfield power station though ash recruitment in Kent I'd only work for them again

Saves money obviously. Less overheads than PAYE for them. It's the nature of the beast right now I'm afraid. Can only applaud the companies who are still taking boys on through the books. You get much less loyalty/quality from agency workers with no connection to the company. Most are just after a wage till something better crops up.
 
Now your talking lads stick together its the only way to get rid of these robbing ********.
