Description
Must be an experienced Advanced Scaffolder with supervisory experience. Must have up to date relevant scaffolding qualifications. Must have a CSCS card. Duties include erecting scaffolding on various contracts within the region, nationally and offshore as well.

Been told by a few lads who have worked there that if you do overtime, that gets paid the following month. So work overtime in october, you get paid it in december.

Only what I have been told by more than a few lads

So work overtime in October, Leave in November and you all know the answer no overtime pay in December

Another rip off and you can have all this for £12.00 per hour
 
This tread / storey has been talked about before and I think the company owner came on and told the true tail about the wages carry on

why bother to advertise these jobs on here in the first place, when all you get is the usual dross who write and say how they wouldn't get out of bed for that or send rumours round that you get paid monthly or other malicious gossip that seems to get posted on here. I assume that all these people who make such comments are in jobs and have pay and conditions better than this.And if so, keep your comments to yourselves and give this company a chance.£12 is good pay, especially around the north east,so don't put off the guys who may be grateful for this job.And there's nothing worse than slagging off a company you know nothing about, and when questioned about it, say you have heard it from a 'top scaffolder' These so called top scaffolders probably got binned from the company cos they were not up to it, or the work was too hard for them.And as for the monthly pay thing,I am not naive enough to believe it personally, but if it is right,then this is the scaff's own decision to accept the work or not.
 
Fair point daffy you have had your say, but this is a forum and everybody who is on here can speak their own mind, some things people like other things they dont, it is for the individual to decide, if everyone on here thought alike then there would be no debates at all :idea::idea:

Yes but why does there always have to be a bad word against any company that gets mentioned on here that's advertising work. Not only that, the ad was put on here by a forum member, not by the company, who probably didn't want it on here in the first place, I certainly wouldn't want to advertise my company on here, irrespective of wether we are a good company or not. And anyway about thinking alike, that seems to be the norm on here when it comes to any company advertising a job for less than zillions an hour.And debate is what the forum is about.Knocking someone like I have been talking about is not debate, it's defaming a company that possibly doesn't deserve it.I note that everything said was hearsay only,nobody who is or has worked for them have made comments, how can you debate on hearsay.
 
Well my son worked for them and it is monthly pay and even on price work, and when jobs are posted on here, its good to see peoples comments weather good or bad

daffy are you even a scaffolder??? you have made comments on here coulpe times now going on aboot pay.. its up to the people on here, if thay want to work for 12 an hour then so be it but if thay dont then its up to them and if thay think its crap then thats up to them also... its probs you advertising for the job its funny how its always you sticking up for the company thats paying sh*t money hahaha
