good to hear that BRITISH FIRMS are giving work to BRITISH Yards
the YARDS are all in good shape or so it seems with Methil,Arnish,and Nigg all busy as well as Hereema.
Just a pitty that the likes of BP still feel that they would rather give work to KOREA than the British worker:mad:

Watched newsnight last night, and the government gave the contract to build new ships to the koreans ibstead of the brits, cos they ( government ), thought the ship builders in the uk would charge too much. And yet there closing portsmouth when they could have awarded the contract to them and kept 1000 men and women off the dole.
Makes you think what other back handing deals the gov'ment have got going. Fingers in pies comes to mind.

Yeah i liked that paul kenny, he told it as it was. I think it would be unfair if scotland lost the ship building contract if they get independance.
I couldn't believe we only have 19 war ships to protect our little nation, that is shocking. We would be fecked if war was declared on us.
 
YARROWS YARD ON THE CLYDE IS THE PREMIER YARD IN GB for building warships and still wins contracts for foreign Navys and the Facilities at Govan are up there with the best in the world thats why they were saved.
Portsmouth has been under threat for years.
I personally pray that there will be no seperation as i am a UNIONIST and STRONGLY BELEIVE that we should stay together and feck the EU off.
THE BRITISH EMPIRE was built by the us all lets rebuild that spirit;)
