To start tomorrow, quick stage experience- part ii's needed for an ongoing job.

£12.50 per hour self employed 12 hour shifts.

No digs, pref local guys.

This is for a friend of mine but is going through the agency books.

Had guys on there for 6months so far but they have gone on as permanent now so 2 more needed. 18months left on the site.

3 or 4 days a week at the moment while they are getting stuck into the next stage but when full throttle as many hours as wanted will be available.

Zara, think you should answer Scafftags question, seems wrong to think lads could jump ship only to find their up the road within a fortnight or so's time. Not good
 
i worked on this job and its pants there is DEFINITLY NOT 18 MONTHS WORK ON THERE MORE LIKE 2 AT THE MOST.
ITS FOR A COMPANY FROM BRIGHTON AND ALL YOUR DOING IS PUTTING SCAFFOLDS UP FOR BRICKIES IN YELLOW JACK.
I WAS THE FIRST SCAFF ON THE JOB ZARA TOLD ME THERE WAS 2 YEARS WORK THIS WAS APPROX 3 MONTHS AGO WHEN I GOT ON THERE AND SPOKE TO THE FOREMAN WHO WAS RUNNING THIS JOB HE SAID THERE WAS ONLY 5-6 MONTHS ON THIS JOB MAX SO GOD KNOWS WHERE THIS 18 MONTHS IS.
PLUS THERE IS HARDLY MUCH GEAR ON SITE BUT THEY EXPECT YOU TO PUT SHODDY JOBS UP WITH BARE MINIMUN GEAR AND WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE FOREMAN HIS ATTITUDE WAS DO IT OR ILL GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO

GIVE THIS JOB A WIDE BERTH LADS

SORRY ZARA IM ONLY TELLING THE TRUTH
 
I'd give the agency a wide birth, not just the job.
 
Hi Guys.

In response as I am not rude enough to ignore your concerns, I have posted what I believe to be true which is what has been told to me.
I am sorry if people have not enjoyed a job I have sent them on but I am just the middle man. I tell you what I am told.
In terms of agency even if a job is just 6months surely that is a good amount of time? Like SUN has pointed out there has been guys on there for about 4 months now and therefore I had no reason to think this wasn't ongoing.
I have no idea why Gaz decided to leave as there are still guys there and I have no reason to believe there isn't still many months left of work.

This is by no means a confrontational post I just wanted to respond so just lay off- agency get a bad rep because its like chinese whispers. I let you know about a job but I'm not on site and therefore aren't aware if you're unhappy. In an ideal world everyone would be employed direct.

Zara, your just passing the book. At the end of the day its you thats sending lads to jobs so you should take some responsibility. Maybe you should actually visit the job first just to make sure your not going make an arse out of yourself and your agency. Obviously elliots have lied to you then, but I bet my house that youstill are still trying to supply them with men. Aslong as your agency gets paid you couldnt really give a monkeys about us scaffs. If you had been lied to like that then wouldn't stopping supply of men to elliots be the right thing todo in the interest of the scaffolders? Because to me and probably many more its quite a seriouse matter, it doesnt seem to be to you though.

Zara if i had left a job for 4mths work and then found out it was only a few days id be looking to you and your agency to make up my pay! you may want to think about that before offering lads work....
 
Its the same old game MONEY TALKS,and your probably right Gaz scaffs will still be getting sent to this site.
 
Theres probably 2 weeks left on it still because no1 will work on it lol
