just had the knock back for offshore job in angola on the back of a crb check.so if you do apply make sure you either get a disclosure of scotland which only goes back 5 years or if you have a clean record you should have no problems....all i had on mine was driving without no insurance back in 1993..as for the rate i would set your sights much above £300 a day as that was all that was on offer for the job i went for...

Offshorescaff prezioso and lassarat dont pay much out there but to many people go abroad for pennies and mess it up for every 1 else, I had a reply once for the arab emrites and it was whats your minimum wage what kind of question is that. a lot of them want you out for pennies and plenty of plastic scaffs will go just to say am a supervisor.

I agree, You wouldnt believe the CVs I get from part 1s and 2s with 3 years total work experience under their belts wanting to earn some tax free bucks.
Of course back in the UK people have been undercutting each other for years just to get a job therefore bringing the money down.

They will not get your visa you will have to go down to London on a tue or wed only open 09:00am 13:00pm go on to Angolan Embasy web page it gives you all details of days when to submiting visa and receiving visa, You are better taking down a stamped address envlope with you so they can post your visa and passport back to you. But before you go you must pay the visa aplication form in through a barkleys bank well in advance and take the receipt of payment with you. All the details for this are on there angolan embasy london web site. You will also need all the vaccinations for Angola well in advanced before they will let you in the country. I hope this helps you in any way if you heare of any scaffolding supervisors jobs for overseas please drop me an e-mail geordiewilliamson1961@yahoo.co.uk
