Just send the wife less for housekeeping. She doesn't have to feed you so unless she gets another fellow in while your away she can reduce costs. Treat them mean keep them keen mate. Just send enough to cover living expenses.

ok you're the boss,but it don't always work that way,don't know why I bother sometimes I was only trying to give the single lads some advice.

Me too mate for the married lads. I am sure many in the UK struggle to clear 400 quid for a weeks graft. 800 quid in Germany would be enough to send home some and still have some enjoyment!!

The last time I worked in Germany we were told travel and free digs.we had to pay are own travel and the digs was an old metal weel vardo type caravan middle freezing and then we got bumped.
