awrite lads ,looking to maybe try working abroad ,anywer considered if any1 cud perhaps point me in the right direction of any agencies/companys that hire brittish scaffs would be much appreciated ,failing that is there anything hapning with shutdowns in refinerys or power stations in the uk that would c my sqaud past xmas again anywer cosidered ,currently with cape at mossmorran but on a 6-8 week position so trying to stay in work u no how it is ,cheers !! davie

Andy Birch--good lad but not a scaff
Tim Denham
Billy (Whizz) used to cause some damage
Stevie Hubbock---a good scaff wanted 24 hours a day
Semtex Harry now working offshore for Capes I believe
Bob marshall
And the famous Big Bird Brian the Flapper Stimpson

It was true Tony Alsopp used to get non-scaffs as supervision because they would find it difficult to get another job so would put his interests first----clever man
 
Was scratching my head trying to think of the name of the old scotish fella, Bobby Marshal it is, i remeber working for Him and Semtex in Karlsruhe, south Germany. Right enough about Alsop being cute in his choice of supervision.

Karlsruhe, great place
Davey Taylor from Preston was there. Douggie Earle and some Newcastle lads.
Bob marshall used to disappear and come back with a red face obviously been for a few haha was that 1999?
 
Dont know about now but they was busy in the past.
They had some great characters working for them in the past,

John greggson and old Ronnie from newcastle,
Davey stevenson and hundreds of Boro lads,
Dave Ashmore from Nottingham,
Had a good few southern lads in Rotterdam years ago Terry Ogrady, Fred and Nozzer.
Wonder where they all are now?
 
i know all them lads from the boro its where im from, boy belton on wilton, davey stevo was on phone other day, he not working, was working for my dad in boro. moved south ten yrs ago to new forest, not much work round here either

Tony Hubbuck......was this a welsh guy? id he have a lad who worked out there too?
 
Thats right his son Anthony worked out there mainly on the Verolme Botlek Rig yard, last seen him down in Pembroke on Chevron/Texaco oil refinery on the last big shut down on the Cracking Olefins 2008, he was working for Kitsons, then i think he jumped to Hertel when they took over.
