Hacked email account

I had my hotmail email address hacked and it keeps sending stupid emails to everyone in my contacts list , does anyone know how i can fix it as it is a business email address and i dont really want to change it unless i absolutely have to :wondering:

I dont understand what they get from sending stupid emails to my contacts , been getting phone calls from contacts telling me i been sending them stupid emails bit embarrassing as a lot are customers

As Nick rightly said change the password asap.

Run a anti-virus tool with trojan removing capability as they usually get passwords via keylogging trojans.
