Scaffolders wanted in Norfolk next year 18-20 month project.

Obviously there will be no local Scaffolders living in Norfolk, all the people in Norfolk either grow cabbages or polish boats , Isn,t it like our own little bit of Holland with no hills flat land, waterways and enough veggie fields to fill Tesco,s 17 times over.:toung:

......and don't forget Great Yarmouth, whose claim to fame is that it has the largest number of under age mothers in Western Europe. Nothing else to do there i suppose !

Hi Mick, apologies for the delay in reply.
Things in the UAE are not as busy as they were a few years back, but Abu Dhabi is not doing too badly at the moment, with new O&G projects underway in the Ruwais and Shah areas.
General costruction projects are still moving in Abu Dhabi, but either on hold or moving slowly in Dubai, so i'm afraid that there is not much to do there.
Qatar is still busy apparently, but the Pearl project is nearing completion now and many guys are finishing there and looking for pastures new, so you've got to search hard and move quickly if you find anything of interest.
Sorry i can't tell you much more, but there's not much more to tell. It looks as if i'll be finished here in about a month or so, so i'll post anything that i come across when i start searching properly.
Good luck, J

I'm a scaffolder, and I'm from Norfolk.

I have applied for this position online. Will give you guys a heads up if anything comes of it.

Baz

If have never worked as a supervisor or an advanced inspector there in not much chance of getting overseas in the likes of the UAE. All the scaffolders are from cheap labour countries not the UK.
So my adivce is if on the spanners don't even waste your time sending cv

**** off jakdan, cheeky ****. Just jealous cos you haven't had threesome with your mum and you sister like the rest of us.

Anyway, I'm a Gorleston boy. Just finished at MR Scaffolding.
