Advanced scaffolder t&w ne12 (1 Viewer)

am sure ezee scaffolding is the only firm that is monthly pay cards in on the tools ! pfft its got bumped wirten all over it !!!!!! few of my pals have worked there and its **** all have been riped one way or another. there's a bloke called will riding who is supervisor for them , biggest chancer av ever come across ! and they mean offshore because they had a rig in invergordon £1000 a week 7 /10's but u had to wait till your 4th week till u got paid !!!!!!!!!!

Not what paddy says scaffmick

scaffmick.

nothing you are saying is helping matters.

The comments started because someone posted a job at £12 per hour. Guys on here know the rates.
People assumed because of the way the post was written that the offshore works were included in the £12 rate. Although i think this was probably not the case.

Paying Scaffolders every 4 weeks is against normal practice in the industry and your reasons for justifying it are flawed. you are just as likely to default on payment at the month end as in any week and then people will loose 4 weeks instead of 1. What i believe you are saying is that you dont have the money to pay weekly. The company is for your benefit why should your employees be taking the risk.

i dont start a company up just to employ scaffolders do i obviouslyits for my benefit normal practice wherecan i buy the rule book and if ididnt have the money to pay weekly how the hell do i pay them every 4 weeks for weeks work brightest of the bunch comes to mind

Companies are paid on a 30 day basis, or more then likely a 90 day basis are they not?
To pay out every 7 days when you get paid every 30/90 days requires a fair amount of money in the bank.

Why do you pay per month?
There must be a reason and its not going to be for your workers benefit is it???
It would be to benefit yourself...

It would benefit them more to be paid weekly would it not?

Nothing like a well balanced answer scaffmick and thats nothing like a well balanced answer.

ok so answer me and everyone else here why you think it is ok to pay scaffolders monthly !!

I will almost guarantee you do not accept paid when paid clauses from your customers. But your earlier reasoning suggests you expect your scaffs to suffer it.
I may not be the brightest of the bunch but trust me i am not unintelligent and know what i am talking about. But you are entitled to your opinion.

You must be the only firm in the uk that pays its scaffs monthly

we arent actually i didnt realise scaffolders were so against monthly pay you would think we were the ones who invented monthly pay i keep forgetting this god i am glad we werent the first to pay peoples wages into the bank instead of the pay packet

In to days times

if a firm goes bust or tits up

its hard loosing 2 weeks wages

but a month must be a killer

So that shows that you have NEVER been a Scaffolder before then dont it?

So you dont know about the job or what it entails, other then what you have been told or learned on a 2 day 'Scaffolding Awareness' course?

Is this a reason for your arrogance, as you must think that all Scaffolders are beneth you...?

Let me tell you something straight now, fella... NO TWO-BOB OFFICE BOY will ever, ever be above a Scaffolder in anything, especially in the hard-work stakes, or having a pair of balls...

Most 'office' workers, imo are lazy, spineless c.unts anyway, who have never even seen a hard days work, let alone done it.

Regards.

Jay.

Jay not all office workers have been tarred with the same brush, some of us have been on the spanners for years and still help the lads out on a weekend by labouring and loading the wagon for them

a person so stupid they are incapable of understanding the simpliest of things,
Someone who (sometimes unwittingly) by speech or action demonstrates a lack of knowledge or misconception of a particular subject or situation.

i think its time you gave up on this.
you came on to defend yourself and your company practises but you havent put forward a reasonable answer to anyones questions .
you have however managed to make me and i suspect many others think that you are someone for whom i would never work and a company that should be avoided at all costs.

if your intention was to make everyone think you are a cowboy then congratulations you have succeeded if it wasnt then i suggest you stay silent before your company reputation falls any further.

(quote) you can put a top hat on a turd but its still a turd.

i aint no quitter unfortunately and its only a deabte i didnt know it was so serious every one has there own view and is entitled to it i honestly think going through all the feedback i have received it seems people dont like it when people come on and defend themselves if that is the case i apologise for defending myself.

eh no one minds you defending yourself , you come across as arrogant . you never answered why you pay monthly and deny ripping lads off which every one in the area knows you do. personally you lost me when defending the ta soldier with 32 confirmed kills .

this company,is a joke,i worked ofshore for 17yrs for salamis of aberdeen and great yarmouth, paying 12ph for advanced and supervisory,is perthetic and disrepectful to all scaffolders ,this company need to get agrip with the real world.

as much as it pains me to stick up for this lot i dont believe that the offshore rate was at the £12 advertised i think the original poster just threw in a line about also having offshore work.
he did also come back and say the £12 was wrong it was £15.

having said all that were still waiting for answers to the questions asked.
i suspect no reasonable answer will be forthcoming. That should tell you what you need to know about ezee scaffolding.
