Might as well say in the advert:
"Your all thick fukkers - We want you to work for peanuts!"

Least then, you'd know where you stood... Instead of them trying to sound like they are offering you a good deal, lol.

Rates have always been pretty low in Tyneside, to many small companys, to many scaffolders looking for work, the yards were the best paying places not many left now, even some of them are not paying well.
As the job posted here probably another dodgy agency, heard of a good few lads lately getting bumped for wages by agencys in the north east, especially when they leave for another job. Probably better off working for Marine Scaffolding on a price on the rocket Gateshead, at least you'll get paid.

11 an hour is a wage and it does pay bills, not many granted but our day will come boys, heads up and stay strong

have you worked for marine mate . i gotta say im pretty sure you d be better off on the 11 an hour

Yes i have worked for Marine before, and i got paid, was on for them about 5 years ago, 10 pound a hour, but now i'm led to believe they only pay there lads on price now. Would work for them again if needs must.

i just been back for 2 month this summer , all in all i probably done anything between 5 10 year there all together all the times iv been back . probably closer to 10 . every time i do go back it gets worse ,you were better off on hourly rate at least you knew the rate was sh!T and you knew what you were getting . now you graft like fook expecting to make money and your no better off . in fact most people are worse off . i dont like to say too much about them cos they are my friends . but without trying to sound like im blowing my own trumpet ,if i cant make money on price for them not many people will be to . my good mates there now and apart from him and gary they have not got one on for them i would even call a scaffolder never mind a good scaffolder . by the way when i said last time was worse than ever i mean doing 7 days working with a pair of tw*ts i didnt clear 500 once

don't know who this marine lot are, but seem to be sorting the men out from the boys with a target.as long as they pay a fair day's wage for a fair day's pay (assuming you have agreed the target rates), then is that a problem?,

Never worked for them but the owner is still on the spanner and one of the bast and they don't put up with the **** ! Allan correct me if I am wrong
