Can't believe what I've just witnessed. There used to be a roughcaster that worked round here used they pins and poles but I've never seen yellow jelly used the same way. The best has to be the swivel round the branch absolute quality.

Shows the sad state of affairs in this country as to the policing of H&S not only for the "tradesmen"but for the protection of the public.

The HSE inspectors must drive past half a dozen of these "jobs" a day and take no action, but would prosecute a scaff for not being hooked on or ponse around a well run site giving "advice"and generaly nit-picking the safe systems of work in place

Can't compete

Went to inspect scaffold today for customer they are doing reroofs told me they can get an elevation for £150 on a house around 6m to 7m long 2 lifts from anouther firm. I told them I can't drop the prices that low and thought to myself there trying it on. As I say went to inspect our scaffold and while I was their noticed the other house they are doing down the street with the other firms scaffolding around it and now I know why 10ft bays single h/rail rusty as F*** tube and fittings. What can you do to compete against these idiots!

They are out there perfect examples of idiots I does make u laugh and it's a petfect point made earlier about the hse they must see it going on but can't pin it on any one so take the easy option and pick on the ones doing the job properly.
