Just shows the importance of kentiledge and ample ties,which would have been shown in the design,it's easy to think,oh it's only small it'll be alright,but their the one's more prone to lift,as there's no weight in them:eek:
 
I've always said that bigfish and currently waiting to hear about an even smaller one. Not sure if there is even room for much kentledge but a good reminder to get plenty ties in it and maybe even a foot tie.:idea:

100% agree.
Slapping jobs up, with next to no thought or foresight in this day and age just simply aint good enough anymore.

I thought the same scaffman.... The roof is still intact... I wonder if it leeks...

Some wind to do that scaffy and not a tie in sight + no kentledge, bet there was no design either
 
fook me general manager you sussed the script straight away , there was a roof on top of that as well but had been struck by the time of the pics , was about 2008 before TG20 :):)

I cant see alot wrong with that roof.
The more i look at it, the more it looks like one of the jobs i usually put up!

See the Tin Sheet at the back all curled up? - Thats designed to catch the rain and let it run gently back down the roof, without damaging the rainwater.
Because like every tree hugging environmentalist out there says: "Rain has feelings too!" :D
