jst start wi a company probably the worst i,ve came across u get i break a day no washing up time is it ur rights to have ten mins to go and get cleaned up before u leave site or do u do this in ur own time been working in water treatment plant and other plants cannot wait to get another job been try like feck all week hopefully sumit will come up soon please jc help lol:wondering:

wash time were lucky if we get 1/2 hours dinner on a 12 hours shift we normally work at least 10 hours with half hours break at half 12 till one but if gaffer turns up while ya in wagon just pesters you to get on wid the job....... if we work a 12 hours shift break still at half 12 till 1 and then right threw till 8 so form 1 till 8 no break just get a drink and then crack on. but supose this is the norm for street firms or is it not ?

if you class tea breaks, dinner, wash time.. lazy ***** are lucky to work 6 hours out of a 8 hour shift...
think that sounds about right what ur doing mate, all depends how busy u are...

I was under the impression that it was 15 minutes wash up time.
But to be fair, if you want to get washed up before you finish - then do it.

Eat when you want, drink when you want, shiit when you want and wash when you want.

As long as your producing some kind of decent work and not using it as an excuse to doss, then wash when you want to.

Its Different when you Actually on a site and facilities are available , Then you knock off get washed have your Break, Ive never been the Type to knock off 10-00am till 10-20am then 12-30pm till 1-00pm etc etc sticking to break times religiously Ive always just stopped and started as I feel fit an ready .
Its a bit different on the street though where there is very little in way of facilities so we maybe get first job done then source food an facilities on way to next job and so on .
If I ever had to put my hand up in the Air and ask to go for pee pee or something I would Knock someone out.
If I ever tried to make my men do the same I would expect to be Knocked out.
The Things I hate that get right up my nose is lads who always seem to wanna go for a dump inbetween breaks all the time just to skive off , lads who always seem to need to go to shop after you just drove past 15 shops on way to site and my biggest bug is lads carrying phones in their pockets who drop everything immediately it Rings 50 times a day ( Fcukin Hate It )

Painters were the only ones entitled to finish 10 mins sharper in order to wash their hands. Not too sure if the Rules have changed,However, as has been already stated "Grow a pair" and feck them.

Theres a 'Scaffolder' on my job who simply must at the same time everyday (3:00pm) have a shiit - we finish at 3:45pm.
