Sliding tempory roof

Phil They were still putting it up when they should have been striking big f**k up. Shame I didnt mind Kevin at least he had done the job and had scaffolding in his blood. Worked for him at the Cross for a short time before I started my own, what about you were you there??
 
ol not a lot then , major **** up then , heard was a nightmare to get gear on to job and that they was running out of kit continuousley

I worked for Kings Cross depot back in 91-94. I was labourer for Johnny law - remember him? Old timer, done 45 years with SGB.
Back then Kevins Dad Stan had just retired at 70. Straight off the tools.
 
I worked with Tony & Jim Smitheram and Dangeruss for SGB at Wembley, Battersea and then for Basher at Heathrow was a supervisor at the Cross in '98. Matty L was still there and Docker, Tommy J they were all SGB legends!!

not half, 25 years ago they were the only firm worth being on for design stuff!! Got to say though Victoria does look good!!! Did some work for May Gurney on the scaffold inspection side on this job and it is tidy!!

Yeah I worked with Matt Lonergan, Geoff Hanson etc etc - Proper scaffolders.
 
harsco.... why the fook would u ditch the best known brand for scaffolding tho

A work of art that deserves a visit
but the old bill were getting worried I was taking so much interest and taking photos!
