Its all good & well saying that the SG guidance is guidance only!!
Try telling site agents that.
The content of these guidance notes need to be thought out better. Last year I was on a 10ft high temp roof. I had an enertia reel on & the Health & Safety rep for the site asked me where my three boards & hand rail where.
Once we picked ourselves up he would no
t listen to us on how a temp roof is built & we were escorted off site by security.
Once the office got hold of his manager we were back on site the next day.
Why to untrained site agents have access to our guidance when they can't understand it, or are not qualified to!!
