I remember this job, if I remember correctly the fan is 21' ladder beams hung on wire bonds. Big Ben had a similar arrangment.

Heavy rains have eroded portions of the face and hands of the statue. It has also been damaged by lightning strikes over the years.

I was there last feb and was going to myself how de f**k did thet get all there materials up there all them years ago.. an now some poor lad is humping all that gear up them steps i feel sorry for him.... wouldn mind been up near the top of him shouting for more ledgers....
