I,am surprised its not higher with dirty fecking plasterers coming in to our trade
 
Thought All The Health And Safety Crap Was Going To Make Our Industry 100% Safer
 
All the health and safety crap in the world won't stop some scaffolders not working correctly or safely regardless of who they work for!
 
Perhaps it's the more bodies entering the country and straight into our trade it seems are to blame for the increase in accidents?
 
In 2014 the highest number of accidents occurred in the 21-30 age group (43 of them), followed by the 41-50 age group (24). These two groups accounted for 64% of all accidents.

Nearly twice as many accidents occurred to youngsters than the middle aged. Possibly down to poor training by these new fangled training schools as well as people thinking that all these health and safety rules protect them . As usual the old school old boys show the way to go.

The best way is always the old school way........shut up....do as your told and get that gear up here asap.
 
Only 13 manual handling injuries :laugh: , NASC have just about eliminated bad wrists, bad backs and fecked knees from the industry.
