scaffolders wanted

Maybe 8am on a building site or an industrial site , but on any street firm i have worked for its in the yard at 6-6.30 get in lorry , go to breakfast , start on job at 8 then work through to about 11 , have a break and then work through until about 3 , back to yard , load up for morning , thats the trouble with sites its all about punching hours , fag breaks , and sh it breaks , not for me or a lot of lads i know .

In all fairness although we start turning the spanners @ 8ish we start pick ups & traveling from 0645!..leave site @ 3ish puts us back in the yard & home for 4:30ish so to us it sounds like a normal day & cant see a problem wiv it

yea i agree. i start at 6, load, go up town for 8 work till 11 alf 11 then work till 3ish back for half four but in my door around alf five. so its about 12 and alf hour day for me or 11 and a half hours or actually around six and half hours work time

I leave the house at 6.30-6.45 arrive on site between 7.30-7.45. Have a break from 10 till half past and then 1 till half past. Finish up about 4- half 4, back home for half 5 latest. Nice steady day, no rush job gets done safely and properley..

Is Bill Woodward still on there, I thought they were doing PTS work to.

Whats the incentive for working those hours?
Mine? Sometimes i enjoy the fact to do a bit of Streetwork - seems more freedom in it.

Trust me. For a relatively young bloke ive done my fair share of steaming about London in 3 1/2 tonnner, trainers on, baseball cap, pair of shorts, but for all the carrying 6 13ft Boards, running up Ladders with 10 5ft Tubes on my shoulder and whistling at strumpet, what do i have to show for it?

A bad back, and a wealthy EX boss...

But the money needs to be more, no?

So Aerial will have a PTS division soon then lol, or is he driving the cranes?

Are you still up regents street?
