So hopefully is a good job coz I am starting Monday will let ya no.

20quid an hour 16 after tax for an eight hour day seems a good rate to me

So roughly clearing 600 quid for 5 days work? I would think after paying rent/mortgage, food, utility bills, transport, etc there won't be much left?
Didn't they say anyone earning under 30k a year was below the poverty mark?

In fact they say a couple with one child aged under 4 need to have a net weekly income of £476.51 just to achieve the minimum required standard of living. That is £600 a week before stoppages

All I said was for a basic rate on a 40 hour week it was good if you need more get a job with overtime but for a flat week with no weekends the hourly Rate seems fair it's 640 clear after 20 percent tax 41600 a year before tax for 40 hours a week
