Scaffolders required, tadworth,hammersmith,Middlesex, hertfordshire,Berkshire,southampton
,labourers, part 1 ,part 2, advanced ,sssts, smsts,
Long run of work
7-30 to 4. Self employed
Pt 2 _150 per shift
Adv -160 per shift

Good for a local lad, but for the travelling man not so sure by the time you pay your digs and travel back home.

REALLY are u chatting for the sake of it or on a wind up....ffs£160 for a normal day shift & you dont think thats enough. I dont even pay myself that much-you do realise we do nuts & bolts up for a living not brain surgery.

so in your infinate wisdom what realalistically do you concider a fair wage then
 
20quid an hour 16 after tax for an eight hour day seems a good rate to me

I didnt say it wasnt a fair wage SP. For a travelling man, by the time you take your digs off and had your deductions then paid your travel back and forth home you'll be lucky if your earning 100 a day.

But for a local lad its a great wage. Sorry if i rattled a nerve SP but thats just my veiw.
 
Not bad rates at all them 80ty but your right no good for the travelling man but lets say 3 man gang within a 60ty mile radius that's not a bad wage and fare play to Tim C he took some banter on previous threads and he as up his rates happy new year Tim C if you read this thread and 80ty slipped a little old thank you thread in the mucker all the best scc.

Mate you need to spread your wings a bit no offence here you must be running around building sites if your paying yourself less than that.

Nuts and bolts or not everyone is still providing a service one that puts your body under serious stress physically everytime you do it.
