Hang on lads thought this was Gary's job:Gary
Trades Labour Division
07867178704

Prob find that scumbag is copieing other ads as his own and then offering the original poster lads, but ripping the scaffs off......prick

It is my understanding this company uses several agencies as well as direct recruitment, they are a big successful firm and need lots of people, so are using many suppliers to feed them..
And yes I have been asked to discuss the supply of labour to them due to men failing to arrive from other agencies/direct...I have not started yet and may not do, it depends on if they are happy with my service and rates..
The fact is though if they could get all the men direct, to cover all the work, they wouldnt be using agencies as well to help them and nor would any other firms.

SCAFFY1980 -
Thats probably illegal, certainly immoral, definately very very dodgy.... and we do not do that. I have written/verbal enquiries and orders for all jobs advertised on our site and linked to my scaff forum. Any suggestion otherwise is wrong.

Mmmm agency clown or on the books let me think mmmmm?? Ram it Gary ya plank

All im suggesting is that it seems a bit sus that your both advertising exactley the same job....
Make your own mind up lads...

Weren't ABC and some other cowboy agency's advertising the same job with something ridiculous like 7 quid an hour difference until I pointed it out?

Quite possibly yes...I do not know what all the other agencys pay in there (or elsewhere)...But I have heard of part 2s on 9 quids when the agency charges 15..which is disgusting..I am paying 1.5 times that amount and charging exactly the same fees...

So even if hourly rate is too low for some blokes, I am not ripping anyone off I only make a couple of quid a man.

This guy is fake!!!!! Can any of his lads prove me wrong?
And not one who's joined today!!!!!

dexter - as you have suggested i am fake and no scaffs are backing me up, I have emailed all my men and asked them for an honest refferal to be emailed or posted direct on here. I am determined to prove that I am genuine because I believe if you gave me a chance you would find me different than you think now. I will leave it to you to decide tomorrow when hopefully some posts go on about it but until then I will not argue the toss as you are in fact right.... I cant prove I am genuine and honest without that. Until tomorrow .....

I wasnt advertising for this job and I certanly have Never advertised a scaffolding Job for 7 quid so please dont tar me with the same brush as some tin pot agencies

For once I will support the competition...ABC have good reputation as supplier but have some men they fall out with, thats natural in any supply chain.. and as far as i can see have good rates...but I am sure they would agree that they have the same trouble as us, clients say what they pay the men we can argue for more...but ultimately the clients pay what they want to pay...

Fair Post Gary and your right the bottom line is it all boils down to what the client is willing to pay and for how long and how many men they require.
you could offer a scaffolder £20 a hour and he would still want £20.50 thats just the nature of the game.
And it is hard pleasing the client and the scaffolders at the same ultimatly your right the client holds the cards they decide the rates and length of contract
