we are on price work all site work and independent. we get £8.00 a metre up and down base outs, 4th and 5th lifts, £5.00 a metre up and down 2nd & 3rd lifts. 6 metres for a 4 metre loading bay and ladder landings. All measurements are scaffold size and not building size, gear delivered on sites,also £25 a floor for safety landing bags.
Currently looking for blokes but being paid monthly puts most of them off never had any problems with being paid (last working day of each month) most months earn around £3,000. Also PAYE full holidays etc. weeks holiday pay average of previous 13 weeks pay aklthough we get a basic £125 for bank holidays.
I reckon if you get less your boss is a tight git and ripping you off.
One thing to mention any faults picked up by safety officer must be corrected immediately and obviously no pay.
