if I have a new design I want to have developed , how would u go about getting someone to design it and then develop it ?????

You have to pay them or get an investor to pay them

Cluckie, if its not available on the market I would get drawings and specs made up,then log these with the patent office. Not that expensive,but will give you priority date and protection against anyone coming in after you. Find a company/engineer to make you up a prototype, to show potential buyers, or to iron out any faults. Good luck bud.

Hi Cluckie, I done this with a company and charged me for the prototype then asked how many I wanted. I was also asked for the cost of setting up the machining.
