whats the most impress feat of strength you've seen / done in terms of scaffolding?

Best i've done is stand 2 21s without touching the floor

Did this take all day or both 21s in one go ?
 
Striking the Bridge across 2 12ft unit beams and an 8ft joined together one in the middle on an ally tower took the whole weight of it then chucked it down

Not me lol

It's amazing what can be done with aluminium.:laugh:
 
I lifted the back of our fully laden 18 tonner while the man from the AA changed a tyre.
 
Have a look on you tube. A scaff bends a 5 foot tube round his neck.
 
Does it count if you bend a five ft tube round some other c@nt's nut?:nuts:
I can think of a few candidates.
 
Many moons ago in my stupidity of youth i had a competiton with my mucker -who could carry the most 13' brds i thought i had it well sussed & managed 12....untill he walked around the corner with 14...we still laugh about it now when we meet up.....

But i will say carrying 2 long or 6x 6' or more than 2 brds has taken its toll on my body & i always tell my lads off when i see them doing it lol
 
I used to Palm on 21 foot hemps in my younger days ,
These days I can hardly lift my arm above my head hahahaha
 
i struggle to lift my heid off the pillow in the morning

in my defence its the same size and weight as a bag of Mark3s

Wot u mean..we cant make em carry 25 DCs anymore :eek:
 
One of the older scaffs I work with was telling me about a two day event held in a park somewhere that was the real scaffolding Olympics, thought it was a wind up until he showed me the pics of him & his brother winning the fastest independent up & down. Does anyone remember these Olympics or maybe the athletes that took part in them, think it was the late 80's
 
We had a couple of industrial scaffs turn up on site, carrying them all day was my greatest feat.
