What do you mean , it says they have a wealth of knowledge. Which usually interperates as more unnecessary courses for us to lay out for. FFS they are selling CISRS scaffold courses to the Arabs yet the card is no good over here, smells of the ECITB situation where they told us the card was no good because no training was given , now they are training under the CISRS banner but the CISRS card isn't valid in the UK. Not that we want our jobs taking but I can smell this is going to sting UK scaffolding in the long run.

anybody work with any of this lot on the spanners because its these people dictating who is qualified to erect & inspect scaffolding. None of them look like they've thrown many 21's about.

they have no work related scars like proper scaffs. I say they should have there scaffolding qualifications after there names,just soas we know there experiences.we have to produce ours to get on sites.lets see theres.

You can get a level 3 overseas card in just over a year. No wait for the level 1 and minimum 6 months between levels 1 & 2 and 2 & 3.

None of our clients have heard of it. Scaffolders have to be third party certified here but that is wide open to corruption.
Unfortunately people have to realize that just attending a few courses doesn't make you a scaffolder. It's the years of practical experience that does that.
I always say that I can do a medical course online but you wouldn't want me to have a crack at taking your appendix out would you?
No doubt with the right sponsors and backers and with enough brown envelopes dropped through the right letterboxes these courses will be the next thing
