yall need to buy some more rabbits plastic boards tend to be thicker than wooden yans marra

Marra you been licking toads again mate what have rabbits gotta do with scaffold boards :laugh::laugh::laugh:

The tail on plastic boards are the exact same dimensions as a normal board ,
So they can be i added to your stock and just used the same

Boards are the bain if my life tbh - the ammount of arguments i've been in through other trades taking them, cutting em down using thwm for shuttering or making benches or just chucki g em in the mud to keep their feet dry...& dont even start me on the brickies coverin em in muck & not scrapping em off, i spent in excess of 20k on brds last year alone & still need more....so plastic brds foe me just wouldnt be practical or economically viable

Until they're the same price to buy as the wooden variety then only then would I consider buying them.

I do have a small amount of plastic boards circa 30 and they're great for indoor industrial work as they do not warp and twist like wood does in hot environments, but as southernpoofter mentioned I've practically gone bald pulling out my hair how my boards are treated as some sort of general site commodity by the other trades.

What annoys me most is screws and nails in boards it's so dangerous ,
I had to un screw 4 inch screws from 10 boards on Friday it's all good until one of the lads get caught with one could be a really nasty accident

Only a cpl of weeks ago had the shoulder torn off a new fleece through that very thing phil- fcukin lucky didnt take it down to the bone- u know u can get a screwdriver head adapter for ur IW to get them out with as well?

Didn't know that SP
That could be a great bit of kit if you could drill the 14 mm nylon plug holes as well

I put a 12m head on for a load of thunderbolts & worked fine - but i meant screwdiver/pozidrive head theyre about £10

nothing more irritating than supplying a site with brand new boards and going back the following week they are laid on the floor as some sort of floating pontoon bridged over the water pipe so the forky doesn't damage the pipe and most annoying some dirty tw@t nocking 6inch nails totally splitting the end of the board to use them for holding door and window profiles up the drove me mad and created me with anger management issues when turning up to site.
But lets face it we spend thousands on materials to make other trades lives easier .
WHEN YOU DONT SEE THE VALUE NO ONE SHOWS RESPECT.

Our company purchased 7000 x 13ft plastic boards from supadeck 2006-2009
As we were buying 3000 wooden boards per year from 1996-2006
