funny things actually is people dont even know what the job is but assume that the size of the lorry affects the if you can hit the kpi and get top rate.
6 blokes are there already hitting kpi every week, been there 5 years with the same size lorry and amount of kit....the kpi is tailored around what they acheive...why think its wrong or a problem?
Yon told us the lorry size you retard and we have all been in the game long enough to know the job and to spot a chancer!!!
If I were you I'd give up now
The reality is I don't need to know how the price work is done by them...its hourly pay...all I need to know is whether the clients told me you hit target, then I pay the wages. Simple.
As far as my lack of knowledge is concerned I find that amusing as I have been a branch manager for Cape and DSL for nearly a decade and for 3 years worked in the lifting industry, I trained scaffolders on-site for 8 years building temp roofs all over the uk, worked on the navy fleet teaching scaffs to erect rolling roofs 100mtres long on every major ship in the fleet pretty much......I have taught scaffs all over the uk how to do that..and some of my good mates own scaffold firms and scaffold manufacturers l help out with so i know virtually every product on the market and who makes or supplies it...
So I may not be a scaffolder myself but I have spent years working with some great ones so know exactly how to spot a good one....
and that my friend is all i need to do..
