Part 1 Scaffolders are required to work for a trustworthy scaffolding company based in Liverpool. Immediate start is available for the right candidates with competitive hourly rates.

The right candidates will be working in Liverpool City Centre at 3 hotel sites and the main duties of the role will include:
Erecting, maintaining and dismantling scaffolding.
The Scaffolder must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
Safe operation
Working at heights
Workplace safety
Safe lifting and handling procedures
As a Part 1 Scaffolder you will have a CISRS card and site experience and able to work in the Liverpool area. We also require two checkable references. You must be able to pass a drugs test as these will be randomly carried out.

My client has a large pipeline of work with a large number of projects running at the moment. They are renowned for their positive work ethic and staff retention. This is an opportunity not to be missed. Competitive rates of pay offered. The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm.

As a part 1 you should be under supervision at all times,if not get better rates boys !!!!!!
 
agreed joebag part 1's arent even scaffs theyr trainees that need supervision
 
Surely there will be part 2s onsite for the company so they won't be unsupervised

But I'd bet a tenner they will be up there doing it!!!
 
Actually saw another one saying advanced Scaff wanted............. At least 6 months experience :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
 
Part 1s might not be scaffs by law jiggaman but some part 1s are better than some part 2s and that's a fact... fcuk tickets I say.. money scamming b#stards....

Toooooooooo true mate I'm working with one that's got the same ticket as me but I can assure you he's up there with the best I've come across and only a couple of years older than myself he not only plsses on me but about 50-75% of the ' advanced scaffolders ' I've met over the years shlthot he is well lucky to be working with him tbh
 
Lad who trained me had no tickets and he's still out every day to this day. He just won't go even tho the boss used to ask him every week, the boss just give up in the end lol.. he still takes every new lad that starts. The firm has about 40 lads and he's by far the best on the firm and best paid.. he's the best scaffolder I personally know...
 
all boils down to tickets im afraid boys, thanks to the money grabbing fatcats
 
Not always my boss as 1 advanced, 4 part 2s, 4 part 1s and about 10 cscs labourers which most of them blast a spanner and earn a part 1 wage... f#ck the tickets
 
I actually agree with jigga ( fuuuuuuuuucccccccvkkkkkkiiinnngggg hell!!!! Lol ) about the way it is ticket wise it's mostly corporate double speak I've seen part 1s on the scaffold doing the exact same job and soon as they realise it they ring the boss wanting more £££ and what he say????? Nope your ticket!

Lee your right in a way and smaller firms have it right, if your able cards don't matter but bigger firms it's mostly ticking boxes for the big contracts

It's great that big firms put there blokes through them but I do feel a bit sorry for the young lads in a way because they could have all the tickets in about 18 months legally but obviously not a part 2 scaffolder! It's puts a lot of pressure on them, I was one of those victims at sgb had my p2 course under my belt at 19 only used cuplock and left for benchmark I soon found out how shlt I was lol
 
Nail on the head bobby.. to much pressure on lads. F#ck the cards and let's face it who ever fails them?? Coz I've never heard of anyone.. its all about the money...
 
exactly they bosses will compliment you all day praise you sayin your **** hot if your part 1 up doin advanced work but arent obliged at all to give you any more money,its theyr discretion i suppose. however any decent conpany wont have part1s doing anything they shouldnt be simply because of the hassle it can cause if anything goes wrong.
 
But a part 2 or advanced ticket doesn't make someone a better scaffolder... and to be fair who actually scaffolds like shown on the course lol. My point is them courses are a money making thing as like I've said before nobody fails, They are a waste of time....

if thats your opinion on competence i would hate to see your work. cards are a must.
 
Well I'm booked on my part 2 so when iv done a 2 week course will this make me a better scaffolder? No!!! It just means my boss will have to increase my day rate..
