Which are the best methods of measuring and pricing?

a bit vague I know just interested on how others do so.

Basically mate you can go for the rate I the area which you are in or you can go for what ever you teams can do it for as long as you can make some money o it of it.

so much a square
so much a fitting
so much a standard
or just take a look and say 300 pounds
 
Start wiv the profit u'd like to earn then work ur trading costs etc out hey presto ur left with your rate....unfortunitly there'll always be people undercutting ya
Linea/meter/sq. It doesnt really matter as they'll all work out the same in the end
 
Metre rate + oncosts [NI tax etc]
dont forget extras like design, licence, sheeting, netting etc
transport, materials, expenses etc
running costs [yard, wagons, fuel etc
profit

easy or what :eek::rolleyes:

and when you have calculated a price from all the above some
ba5tard undercuts you by half
