"British scaffs are the best in the world" has often been stated on the forum.
"Everyone wants us we invented it" is another one.
I have always been treated with respect where ever I have gone to work and I am sure many other members who have had the balls to go overseas will say the same.
Don't you think we should show others the same respect ?

Spot on HSWT The British jobs for British workers makes me laugh, I bet the people that keep posting that old chestnut all own foreign made tv's , toasters, microwaves, clothes, tools , cars, etc, etc.

I like to ask where these TV's toasters, microwaves, clothes, tools, cars, ect are actually
made in Britain?
Dont think we have much of a choice anymore BUT to buy foreign these days.
Oh, apart from the only car manufacturer's I can think of that are still British-owned.
But I cant see me buying an Aston-Martin in the near future.

John....aston martin was owned by ford ( american ), it is now owned by a consortium made up of an american and kuwati business-men which hold 90% stake, ford still holds 10% and still produces the engines and chassis. The only british owned car maker is now morgan ( based in malv, worc ).

If people had bought British when Britain was still a manufacturing power things may be different.
They say children pay the price for the sins of their fathers.
