Palmers used to be a good firm' when they ran out of charlton depot, couple of the yard lads used to live in my digs. Werent so good the last i worked with them,a geezer called pat was the supervisor, grade A tossbag he was!
 
Yeah that will be Pat Morgan, well you'll be glad to know, they have just paid him of, cause they have closed his branch, he now works for Tone, biggest w.anker I've ever met.
 
Na, this bloke had done 10 year for trad previous to this. Your not thinking of chris anderson-smith are you. He ran St Pancras for palmers then did the rounds - not that i'm calling him a dosser mind you!

Can't see it continiuing wage wise in its present form. Think they'll use s lot more local labour next time. Lets just hope pyeroy don't get it!
 
£16ph For the 1st 40hrs
All hours after 40hrs paid at £24ph.
Lads on here are doing 84 hours a week then plus £232 dig money.
They don't enforce the 72hr rule on here for some reason.
They will have to use local labour if it goes down from that, won't get many travelling lads if it does.
