Looking at those ties lads I'd say the lamp post tie looks quite sturdy in comparrison. I especially liked the branch tie, do you need seceteurs to strike it ? I have been back to the scaffold where I took the picture , no need to worry lads there is a hilti tie (on wrap overs) half way along the elevation on the second lift (scaffold is 4 lifts x 14m long)so no question of it ever falling over into the busy street below,so thats a relief.

When tieing scaffolds into street furniture is it mandatory to highlight the tie tubes with red and white bunting tape.


thats all i had left in wagon so it didn't mark the lamp post, didn't want a fine off electric company aswell...
