Ladders?

seen many a good front and back erected for Roofers, Ladder gate attached and 1.8 top stop end hand rail for them to tie off their ladder on. what do you see......A extension ladder leant against the scaffold with the ladder gate tied open and no lashing to the ladder.:eek:
 
You are going have to think of worst case scenario and cover your self with some pretty detailed instruction in the hand over ,and hope it eliminates or reduces liability if some thing goes wrong.
I don't envy you guys who run outfits now days

Seen it myself many times Paddy and often thought some of these jobs would be actually safer with the old style access that no one interfered with but you would get hung for that as well.
