T’was on Monday morning 13/01/14 the agency did call, a friendly lad named Cordell Morrison of Globetek saying he wanted to approach DSL for work in Bradwell Power station in Essex on my behalf. As it was for scaffolding surveying I happily agreed and the call terminated in him promising to let me know within a day what the outcome was.
Later on in the same day a call came from a Geoff Vincent of Daniel Owen Agency, He wanted to put me forward for a temporary post with a main contractor in Romford settling their closing scaffolding contracts. As it was for scaffolding I happily agreed and the call terminated in him promising to let me know within a day what the outcome was.
Jog on to 30th of January and I receive another call from an agency who’s name I didn’t catch but the guy on the phone, a Ben Hinel? wanted to forward my name on to Hertel for scaffolding surveyor work in a power station,(un-named), in Essex. As it was for scaffolding I happily agreed and the call terminated in him promising to let me know within a day what the outcome was.
As yet not one of these nematodes has had the decency to ring back or even drop a short email as to where I stand.
 
Just the way the world is now especially when your dealing with a complete lack of class like the majority of agency cv collectors.

Thanks aom, my only point is they all told me they will ring back with the result either way. Had they said if you dont hear from us in a set time etc. I would not have minded.
 
Don't worry, I knew that. I just feel a complete lack of class is on show from these guys when taking names. I know the whole point of using agency can be to satisfy demand, but as you say, a quick line to say whatever wouldn't go amiss.
 
In these instances I havent sent them a cv, they have picked up old cv's on the net and contacted me 'cold'.
 
Sounds all to familier mate think als right as they build there client list with as much names as poss, I haven't had much exp with em but get constant calls and texs from em its typical office mentality it seems mate

Dont worry binthere there time will come...the fecking wannkers.

Joking apart big fella, these feckers are scum of the earth that leach on the good hard honest working man. All the best pal.

Stay well clear of Ben Hiner, he used to work for progressive recruitment took me 5 weeks to get money owed from these *****.
 
It's not just agencies who are guilty of this rudeness.
I have lost count of the number of PM's I have received from people wanting help with employment, RAMS, CVs etc.etc.
I always help out when I can and supply the necessary info but very rarely do I receive any thanks or even acknowledgement that they have received the info.
It is a sad malaise that affects modern society. I was taught to say please and thank you as a kid.

Very true fred I go out of my way to help someone, I've helped a good few mates and even members on here with getting a start or contact info etc and even got moaned at recently saying its wasn't up to their standard fooking cheek, things like that do upset ya and makes you think if it was the other way would they do they same? :(
 
They won't young Bobby it is all take take take.
I knew a guy who used to ring me up regularly and ask if I was on something good. If I said yes he would ask me to get him in. We would do that job then he would disappear and I wouldn't hear from him for a year or so. The. He would call again and I would ask him what he had been doing. He would then say oh we been on a great little number you would have loved it but it's finished now so are you on anything good. Didn't last long I can tell you!
 
Fooking right den always been my philosophy and don't blame you at all fred not only did he not return the favour he rubbed ur nose in it!!!!!

Btw way where you working now mate lol
 
Prime time seem to be a big cv collector. Advertise for jobs all over but never need men wtf!
