Allied.
the 'owner/md/operations director' you're referring to, i assume, is Vinny. True he had his own plumbing firm before working at grace but his main role is face time with the men as Brian aint too good with them, as a note he doesn't do the wages, each foreman does the wages for their own 'team' of men which are then passed up to the office. I have been provided with 4 pairs of cover-alls, 3 fleeces, hard-hat, 3 high-vis t-shirts, boots, harness and got a free spanner too after working there only 3 months, the same was given to men that had been there only weeks. So to say that safety equipment isn't provided is a bit of a leap. I've never been on a job further than 20mins from yard, most of work in eccles, irlam, cadishead. currently working in ordsall, 2 mins from yard. Me and my partner split 50/50 and have never earned less than £600 a week and the max was £870. We dont do weekends. In the current climate i don't think that's bad at all. If you work hard and have a positive attitude you won't have a problem. of course you get the occasional sh*t job, but its to be expected, it happens everywhere. Rant over. lol
